Default 1984 Chevy Cummins Puller-Daily Driver Project FEELER

Here I have my labor of love for the past 3 years. I’m interested in selling due to the fact that I had my first child this year and will not have a need for this regular cab truck. Until I drove a crew car I was a diehard regular cab only guy. Now, with a child, I see the practicality of a crew cab.
This truck started life as a 1973 Chevy k1500 with a 350, 4-speed, 4x4. I bought it 10 years ago and it has taken many transformations. Engines went from 350 to built 350 back to 350 and then a 6.2l with a turbo and now a Cummins.
I searched for over a year for a straight solid body and ended up with a 1984 Silverado 2wd with 116,000 miles and a clear Delaware title. I’ve since placed the ’84 body on the ’73 frame and done a lot of restoration and repower work. I researched for over a year on power, aftermarket, and tricks of the Cummins engine before grabbing a wrench on it. The engine is a combination of things I’ve read from KTA, bgilbert, ptoombs, richie O, stillsmokin, pulltilbroke, rswords, and jayers of things they have tried, failed, succeeded, done or knew. I was looking for about 350hp and I’m sure the engine is around that mark.
And now, for the long list of work done:

Frame: ’73 Chevy k1500
6” leaf spring suspension
8 new custom made u-bolts
Dana 44 and GM 12 bolt removed
Dana 60 Ford high pinion installed with new 3.73 gears and bearings
New dually hubs
Gm 14 bolt stake body rear installed with 3.73 gears and gov locker (narrower than a dually 14 bolt)
New brake lines on frame rail
New 3/8 fuel line on frame rail
Universal hitch from NAPA bolted up
Frame was then powerwashed with soap and water
Then wetblasted at 4k psi with medium grit sand
Marine Cleaned and washed
Blown dry
Prep and Ready metal etch
Coated with semi-gloss black POR-15 (frame rails, axles, springs, crossmembers, fuel and brake lines)
Twin plastic fuel tanks (new in box)

Engine: 5.9l 1st gen Cummins from ’91 Dodge with 93,000 miles
Again, before I touched a wrench I researched this engine for a year.
2nd gen intercooler
Pump work:
3200 gsk
Denny T fuel pin
Stock timing
Conservative smoke screw and star wheel adjustments
Power screw collar removed and cranked 2 turns
Throttle arm bolt switched closer to pump for more movement
High idle screw removed
High idle boss on throttle are removed along with where it hit on the inlet hose
Fuel system:
High pressure piston pump
Aeromotive regulator
Liquid filled fuel pressure gauge mounted on regulator
Mechanical tach sender
Oil fill moved to valve cover
ARP Head studs cold torqued to 130 ft. lbs.
Marine head gasket
3rd gen 2 piece tubular ported exhaust manifold drilled and tapped for EGT with k-type probe installed
Rebuilt- zero miles- s300g turbo, according to numbers it is a 64/74 turbo
6x18 EDM injectors at stock pressure
60 pound pacbrake exhaust springs
Dodge exhaust brake vacuum actuated
Factory gm sending units installed
KDP killed
Front case bolts removed and threadlocked
New front seal
Hand throttle out of a ’93 Peterbilt (new)
4” down pipe

Tranny:
GM adapter plate
Borg and Beck high pressure clutch
GM 5 speed NV4500 from a ’93 Chevy 4x4 with super low crawling gear
Hydraulic Clutch

Body: ’84 Silverado
Interior:
A/C not hooked up yet, but intact
Power windows
Power locks
Tilt steering
Twin fuel tanks
Floor pan was also treated with POR-15 process
Highliner headliner with 4 speakers and radio slot
Custom built behind the seat speaker box (empty)
Painted Fawn Autumn Medium Metallic Brown and Metallic Gold

Exterior:
Body scuffed with 80 grit
All door, fender, and cab gaps were poly filled and blocked down for a perfectly flat body
Covered with USC Icing and blocked out with 180 and 300 grit
1 rust spot in body was patched with a pressed panel.
Body sealed with 2k Epoxy sealer
Scuffed with 300 grit
Front fender coated with USC Glazing putty and blocked down with 400 grit
Driver door is half done – and that’s as far as I got.

To finish:
Block body – not really needed
Final primer/sealer
Paint
Install windows, interior, exterior trim, radiator, intercooler and tubing, exhaust, tanks, batteries and go.

I have several boxes of parts to complete this build including all interior trim from 3 different trucks.
I do not have the carpet, radiator, or wheels and tires to finish the truck. I was going to buy all 3 new but haven’t done that yet. I do have it rolling on a junk set of 16’s off my crew cab dually.

I figure if I part this I can get over 12,000 for all the parts. I’m not against this, just don’t have the time. I’ll sell it the way it sits for $7000 OBO. One solid week to finish it. I’ve got too many other projects that need attention.

Also interested in trades and partial trades. Hunting and fishing gear, enclosed goosneck trailers, gooseneck wedge trailers, D-max parts, Allison tranny, tools, Hog block and small block Chevy's, muscle cars, classic cars, diesel trucks, tractors, etc.

Please excuse the spelling errors in my OP. Writing the thesis for my Masters was much easier than listing the work and parts of the build.
