Van Aaken V5 and S&B Intake for second gen Cummins
Sadly, I left the Cummins family today. I traded my 99 DC, Quad Cab, in for an 06 Powerstroke, Crew Cab, King Ranch. I was very fond of my Cummins; however, it is 2 wheel drive and I can no longer get by without a 4 wheel drive.
Anyway, I have a couple of aftermarket parts that I farmed from the truck before I traded it in. If someone is looking for a Van Aaken V5 or an S&B cold air intake, let me know (PM). I searched for a classified section, but couldn't find one.

Let us know how you like the mileage, power, cost of parts, cool/cold weather starting, and overall driveability. I have a '01 Dodge as a personal truck, and a '06 F550 PJD for a work truck. I'm glad I only have to pay for one of them.

The power is a lot different from my 99 Cummins ... doesn't have as much low end grunt, but she gets up and goes! Much smoother! The ride is much better, too. I've only driven her for the day, but I really like the feel, so far. The truck was meticulously cared for and I have all of the service records ... and a full service/warranty history from the dealership that cared for her. She just had her EGR valve/cooler, oil cooler and head gaskets replaced about 6K miles ago, so I think I'll be okay for a while ... fingers crossed!
Yes, they are known to have issues, but I bought a comprehensive warranty that is good for 36/36, with a $100 deductible ... even covers oil leaks!
