Default Ugh. Want another cummins. Somebody trade me one for my TDI

1999.5 Volkswagen Jetta TDI- 5spd, g60 single mass flywheel, Stage II VR6 clutch, front mount intercooler, 2.5" charge piping, 3" exhaust, 2.5" downpipe, pd150 intake manifold, egr/cooler delete, stage II rocket chip, Pier Diesel .502 injectors, in tank lift pump, slow boy racing boost valve (19psi), ceramic pads, konei shocks, new tires, new alternator, new battery, LOTS of mods. Gets 700+ miles city and 800-850 miles+ on highway and have pics to prove it.

I mean.. I'm completely happy with my TDI. Love the hell out of it. If I could keep the TDI and buy another cummins, I would. But my apt burned to the ground the week before Christmas, and I really need another truck. The Jetta is great in the snow, have NEVER gotten stuck; and the mileage is insane. But I just need another truck. I wont be too picky; I'll suffice with an auto. But I love straight drive. If I keep the car, I'm gonna finish blacking out the rear end and put a wavetrack LSD into it. But I really need another truck. I lost nearly everything in the fire, and I've got too much going on to rely on the car for carrying out my work load. I guess I can make it work; I have been. But a truck would make things easier. I'm willing to drive for the right truck. I'd even trade for a nice powerstroke. I'd even trade for a duramax, but I dont foresee that happening.

Motor and clutch and ceramic pads have 20k on them. Turbo has about 5k on it. New alternator, battery, starter, and a few other things. Car runs great. In the extreme cold, I cycle the GP's once and it starts right up. Anything over 30*f it will start without the GP's.

I really dont want to just flat out sell it. I sold all of my other cars, so I'd have to find transportation in the mean-time until I could find another cummins. So I really dont want to just flat sell it.

Granted, for the right price, I'd settle with being carted around until I found another cummins.

Not too sure. Haven't dynoed/tracked it, only street races and comparisons to other builds. I have MUCH more in terms of supporting mods and 'small things' on my car that 95% of tdi modders... I'd wager with the stock turbo between 300 and 320lbs of tq to the wheels. With a bigger turbo and an RC3, I'd bet I'd be close to 360-380+lbs of tq at the wheels.
Thanks for the compliment though!

Ya man it's a blast. Hell, I even enjoy adding up the mileage at the end of every tank. Seeing a consistent 50mpg 100% city driving is enough to bring a tear to a mans eye.
