FS/FT for diesel truck: HIGHLY modded TDI 5spd; 62mpg +300lb/tq
Hello guys! Well as luck may have it, I've fallen ill with the "I miss my G*d-damn powerstroke" bug. So I was hoping to trade my 1999.5 Volkswagen Jetta TDI for one. I'm very open to what kinda truck; I really want an NBS.. but a SWEET obs would work too. Or a cummins. Or even (yes, I'm stooping low here) a duramax.
Here's whats up with my TDI:
1999.5 Jetta, 5spd, .504 sticks, pd150 passenger intake manifold, in-tank lift pump, egr delete, egr cooler delete, 3" stainless straightpipe, 2.5" charge pipe w/ fmic, slow boy racing boost controller (20psi), vr6 stage II clutch, g60 single mass flywhweel, rocket chip stage II, 10k miles on rebuilt motor/clutch, KYB shocks, aftermarket pads
It really does haul ***; it's pushing about 300lbs of torque, and considering the car weighs about 3000lbs, it really moves. It's got a VNT turbo (variable nozzle turbo), just like the new 6.4 PSD's have. It's basically a small turbo at low rpm/throttle, so there is no lag/spool up, and at high throttle/rpm the vanes open up to create a "big turbo".
I'm not even gonna be picky and say "I want this truck with this option that option and the other".. but I do ask that the truck runs/drives, and isn't a rot box.
Lets see some offers?

The car gets about 50-52mpg CITY driving.. and around 60-62mpg highway. $44 worth of expensive NY diesel will get me about 800+ miles on the highway. The car is a 5spd, has power up/down windows, power sun roof, ac, and is very very comfortable. The car WILL need tires; but they cost like $35 a piece for these 15" wheels.
ALSO.. for a really sweet deal, I'll even drive the TDI to your door step. No matter where you are located. For the right deal, of course.

Well now that depends.. If I wanted to sell it fast, $9k. If I wanted to sell it for what i know I could get for it, probably around $14-16k.
I'm definently interested in the dmax though if you are serious.

I had a late '99 6spd. I'm definently a "cummins" guy; not a dodge guy . I love the Ford and everything that encircles it though. But I'm pretty open to offers here. I've experienced them both.
