a friend of mine has a Red 97 Ford F250 Powerstroke 4 door short bed 4wd. The engine is bad (at least this is what the mechanic says) . the transmission is a 5 speed. its fair. clutch is worn. not sure on miles. will part out if no one wants the truck how it sits. wanting $2500 obo.

CCSB were only avalable in the F-250 as well... So that means the wounderful TTB front end...

 

yeah but a Dana 60 solid axle is a bolt in deal. takes all of about 2 hours

 

Learned somthin new tody, never seen an OBS CCSB

 

I've seen a few of them around up here. A lot seemed to go into hiding when the new body style came out. After '99 is when everyone started going CCSB, same with GM. GM had very few CCSB's made pre-'01, but there were even some '99 dually CCSB's around...then they discontinued it when the d-max came out. Ford is the only one who made a CCSB dually between '00 and '07 (or whenever the Dodge Megacab came out)

 

sorry its been a while since ive been on here due to corn harvest. i dont have any pics just yet. i can try and post some if i can figure out how. but im taking offers. ill be honest the front bumper doesnt look very good and the hood is crinkled a little bit. on the passenger side behind the rear wheel is crinkled up because of a blow out. ill try and get some pics taken asap.
