sounds like this isn't going to move as an entire motor, so I think I'm going to start parting it out. First-come, first served. I'll list price plus paypal fees are on top of that. I can ship UPS, Fedex or flat-rate USPS (as long as it fits in their boxes), just make sure to tell me what you want to have quoted.

Here is what I'm thinking on the parts. As I remove each item, if it's not in good shape I'll either remove it from the list or lower the price if someone still wants it. I'll also add the various parts that aren't currently listed as I get to them during disassembly.

ITEM PRICE
turbo $300.00
pistons $150.00
rods $100.00
crank $150.00
cp3 $325.00
heads $300.00
pushrods $40.00
fuel rail $50.00
valve covers $50.00
wiring harness $40.00
waterpump $40.00
shortblock $300.00
flexplate $25.00
balancer $25.00
cam $100.00
intake horn $50.00
exhaust pass $25.00
exhaust driver $25.00
oil pan upper $50.00
blow-off $25.00
FPR $30.00
downpipe $40.00
up-pipe driver $50.00
up-pipe pass $50.00

I spent some time today taking most of the upper half of the motor apart. Everything bolted to or above the heads / etc is now removed, including fuel rails, intakes, turbo, rocker arm assemblies, waterpump, etc. All pushrods are removed and are nice and straight. All head bolts are removed, other than the 4 allen-head bolts per side (found out I didn't have the right size allen-head wrench; hope to get the right size tomorrow).

Heads will hopefully be removed in the next day or three, and I'll have details about condition of the pistons / rods shortly after that. I can start shipping as early as monday.

Ok, finally got a chance to tear into the block, and MAN GM did NOT want that oil pan to accidentally come off! Took about an hour to get the sucker removed, all because of the two bolts hidden under the flexplate (which hasn't budged yet). Since the aluminum adapter between the motor and trans was already missing a chunk, I broke out the cut-off wheel and cut it off around the two offending bolts. That way I could remove the pan w/o damaging it.

The GREAT NEWS is that that rods, pistons, crank & mains are all perfect. I will have the rods & pistons out over the next day or two and will take pics & post them. I also sold the passenger up-pipe.

If there is something you see that you want, feel free to make an offer. Thanks!

How much are you asking total for the remaining parts? I really only need a turbo but if the money comes in right this weekend I might be able to afford other items.

Thanks.

now that I have it all torn down, I'd probably knock 25% or so off the remaining parts if someone wanted everything that's left.

Here are updated pics of the pistons & rods. These are how they came out, haven't had time to clean them up. They are all in good shape, no bends / breaks / damage, just some carbon & gunk that needs to be cleaned off. Rods are all in great shape as well.
