For sale is a motor off a 2005 Kawasaki ZX6R Ninja 636. The motor runs great but is missing second gear. This motor has the "cassette" style trasnmission therefore you can put another transmission or second gear in at minimul cost and should be an easy job. The motor does not leak at all and ran perfect when it was taken off the bike. It has amsoil 10w-40 in the motor but could probably use an oil change. I am selling JUST THE MOTOR! It does not come with an exhaust, computer, or anything else like that. The motor only and that is it. If you have any questions or need pictures please contact me. I am asking $500 cash for the motor alone. This motor could be a great project for any go kart, ATV, or anything of the such.

The motor came off my 2005 Kawasaki ZX6R (636). It was not used for stunting. I bought it from my friend and he is the one who had the second gear go out on him. It has had wheelies ridden on it, but that comes with every street bike. Never long enough to starve the motor of oil.

It is currently in pieces in my garage. It is going to get a new 06-08 motor, exhaust is getting cut (it looks weird now I think) chain and sprocket kit, wheels getting painted gold where the red is, and a few other odds and ends like polishing the frame. I am only selling the motor because I want a brand new one in the bike. Otherwise I would have fixed just the transmission.
