It helped with mpg and egt's. It was for the better in both but I have a heavy foot so I was never really consistent but it did help.

I believe so, but you'll end up with an extra set of seat belts.

I know that none power seat from a 98.5 and new will fit a 97 and i dont think they changed anything mounting wise for power seats so i believe they will
