i have a pace edwards jackrabbit cover off my dads 01 ram shortbed! it was hit in the side so it was removed to get the body fixed and never put on.
great condition, black, has all mounting hardware except 1 bolt. wich i will try to find!
he wants $500 for it new they are 900ish

I would think that its not wide enough for a third gen - might be close but you wont get a perfect fit.
