my buddy who runs the shop in that picture built it for me out of structural steel, mostly heavy c-channel and some diamond plating on the top. it withstood a 45mph collision that put the back hatch of a minivan into its back seat, all it did was elongate the bolt holes in the frame and actually bent the very ends of the frame a hair, but the bumper was intact and not damaged.
