Hey guys, I'm sorry I haven't replied. I've been busy getting ready to leave for vacation Thursday, be back Monday. The brake does not have to be wired to your ecm. I ran it off a Pacbrake pedal switch, makes it kick in/out faster than ecm. This brake is not a PRXB, this one is a vacuum operated brake which just taps into your vacuum line coming from the stock vacuum pump. Very easy to install & very reliable. Only thing you will need is a throttle pedal switch, Vacuum solenoid & switch. These parts are available from Advanced Diesel Technology for around $100. You can run this with just a vacuum solenoid & on/off toggle switch or shifter mounted switch if you are careful not to engage it & roll the coal.

put me next if he doesn't take it I have a buddy with a 6spd that wants one bad

1. a wiring harness from cab back, from 99 model in great shape. $30

2. Harmonic balancer from 03 CTD like new $30

3. Boost fooler for 3rd gen, brand new in plastic. $30

4. HTB2 62 compressor housing & wastegate for 3rd gen, brand new $175

The toggle switch will be wired to your vacuum solenoid on/off. When you switch it on, it makes the vacuum solenoid open sending vacuum to operate the brake. I've installed many brakes this way & it works great. I usually hook them up using a shifter mounted switch to control the brake on/off. If you'd like, I will include full instructions for installation. I would gladly hook you up with my friend who is a dealer for all the parts you need.

im going to have an easton fuller shift know coming soon so maybe that would work?

I wasnt trying to prevent a sale - just wanted him to know that it wasnt exactly a bolt in upgrade.

is the boostfooler built in on an edge ez like my dad has in his 04? or will this help his egt's get into the 1400's if your not watchin.
