I have a Dana 80 out of my 2000 that has limitied slip, 4.10 and drum brakes that I am looking to get rid of. if anyone is interested let me know. I found a 80 out of a 01 that has disc brakes and 3.55 that I put in.

 

why is everyone changing there 4.10's to 3.54's i have a 3.54 and was thinking about going to a 4.88 is that a bad decision for a daily driver and towing rig

 

4.88's would be really low gear, it would be great for towin and your bottom end would kick *** but your fuel mileage would go way down. so i would stay with the 4.10's IMO

I would like to get $1000 for it. it has new brakes. it has the parking brake cables still installed. it doesnt have the brake hose though.

 

I have a dana 80 with a 4.10 and I just found another one with 3.55 gears in it. My 4.10 revs at nearly 2100rpm at 100km/h. too low a gearing since I hardly ever tow anything!

 

it makes a big difference in rpm! Mine is still for sale!
