Default 271 Transfer Case

third gen 271 manual shift transfer case out a auto with yoke off drive shaft (needed for 2nd gen swap) good replacement or swap transfer case. the third gen 271 has a larger output shaft then the second gen 241 so its great for a sled puller. $650 +shipping

Man, I knew the 271's were bigger, but that thing looks like almost 40% bigger! Wish you'd have had this thing up a few months ago before I spent a grand on rebuilding my 241. Nice price too.

If it was for a manual, I'd be all over this deal.

It wil bolt right up to a manual trans truck, no adapters needed iirc. Here is a write up that a buddy did.

I have been looking for a 271 & everyone tells me that autos have a different size input than manuals. Skynyrd, if you are willing to adjust the price to make up for my added cost of swapping inputs, I'd be interested.
