Default 1996 Dakota 318 V8 W/ Trans only 55k MILES

Pulled this for a buddy when we put a 4BT in his Dakota. Engine and Trans are for a 4x4, but the T-case has already been sold. Perfect drop in for a 96 or older Dakota 4x4. Owned and maintained by a 55yo janitor, truck was flawless, and the engine and trans show that. It was kept detailed even under the hood. No leaks, runs like a top, shifts perfectly, I can't describe how clean this thing is. If you need an engine or more likely a trans look no further.

$1800/bo for the engine and trans together, will sell them separately!

Had planned on putting it in my brothers Ram 1500, but its not close enough for me to drop in, harness from 96 to 97 completely changed. Somebody has to know somebody that wants it! He lost his job and he needs to get his truck back on the road.

it's bad with the 3.9 v6 in it...almost pitched it around the other day in third gear.

Jeez, I never had a problem with my old mans, he's got a 3.9 5-spd 2wd ext cab, and its got enough power to get out of its own way, but its not like its gonna spin you off the road, unless your in the snow.

It hadn't rained for about two months, all the oil had just come up out of the road.
