Default Exhaust and Performance upgrades

I have an 03 Commorrail Dodge. I removed the tailpipe because the connection to the muffler was rusting away. The tailpipe is in decent condition, and I would like to know if there is a muffler delet kit, that I could remove the muffler and reconnect to the tailpipe without changing the entire system. I know this may be loud, but I am considering it.

Also what pricing can I get on a new system. From the turbo to the muffler is good condition. What would anyone recommend. I live in Wi and don't like to throw lots of $ at a system that will rust out again.

Also I am looking to install Bullydog / Smarty / Banks / or a download chip of sorts to upgrade my system. What would anyone recommend and prices for comparisons....
I am a remodeling contractor and I pull light to medium loads occasionally, and do some equipment hauling of cars/trucks/tractors...on occasion, so multiple things going on.

I had a fuel upgrade box plugged into the commorrail system that made a huge difference so I know there's lots of options out there. But mine just quit one day, truck would not start, I unplugged it, and truck runs fine without it.
A friend told me fuel is great, but when you add air and timing adjustments into the equasion you get much better performance and economy throughout the range of the entire system. This makes sense to me.

Looking to spend some money and need to be educated 1st. So, guys tell me what you know and what it will cost for variables of components.

Oh, yes, here is my system: 03 commonrail / 120k / 150 AirDog / New Injectors 1 year ago 90 hp upgrades / K/N filter in the stock air box / fuel pressure-turbo boost-tranny temp-GAUGES / stock tires / Will remove stock exhaust soon
