I know that this sounds wrong, but I have no idea what they are actually called. I need covers for my stacks, leather one's that slide over the stack, fit fairly tightly with a velcrow strap to make fit tightly around base. Alot of tractor pullers have these, not sure where they get them though. I have 6" miter cuts on the way and I would like to get covers for them before I install them. I will look for a picture of what I am describing, hopefully I can find one. If anyone sells them, or knows where I can get them please let me know.

use folgers coffee cans, the plastic kind, but if you really want real ones there called stack hats

 

same here on our lobster boats we used a bucket or a big coffe can

 

This is not what I am looking for, but thanks for the info. I am looking for the leather one that fits nicely around the outside of the stack, they are also cut for miter stacks.

 

Hell a leather one that fits tightly to the outside of the stack? That just seems like it would take extra long/ climbing into bed to put on.... I think a coffee can or bucket would do just fine... unless that is you are too proud to have your truck seen wearing that in the parking lot.

dang it just hit me i know what your talking about, the local cat dealer sells them for transporting equipment
