just thought id ask for the price for a complete rebuild kit for a 99 dodge 2500 4x4 with the 5.9 in it. if my engine craps out i want to know which is the cheaper route. i was just informed that a new engine could cost upwards of 10k and im not goin that route. my truck was only 9k when i got it. thanks in advance.

 

JOM but you would be better off finding a good used one you can get them all day for $1500 - $3000 then you can have all the "good" bolt on stuff from your old motor EX: Turbo, manifold, fuel pump, ect
