Sad Price on a South Bend clutch Part # 3250

My stock clutch is slipping and I have been advised to get a new one. I called South Bend and they told me to get the above part number for what I am running (all mods listed in sig and smarty at 60HP plus timing).

If you have a better idea, I'd love to hear it. I am also interested in warranty because I have put 15k on since last month. There are no diesel shops that I am aware of in my area (zip 16201).

I have to haul a few more cars to come up with the money (SB said $1400) so I am in no hurry although I might be if it goes....

Thanks!

Thanks for the prices and info everyone, but I switched it back to stock and can't get it to slip if I try so I am going to keep working and see how long I can go! Here is the thread I started asking how long it will last if you would like to follow along... https://www.dieselbombers.com/5-9-li...ompletely.html

I bumped the power down on mine and it didn't slip for about 3-4 months.

I hope it will buy more time than that, but we'll see...

Just depends on your driving style. Try to keep the rpms up and dont lug it in the higher gears.
