Default freeze plugs 87 12 valve

my buddy has a 1987 12 valve 250hp marine 5.9L cummins in his boat
he want to know what size freeze plugs it takes and whats some price quotes.
it's the ones in the head by the injectors, he has one leaking.
also he needs them yesterday. it for a commercial lobster boat he needs it for work.

so i need a price quote on parts and quick shipment

Make sure you get bronze or stainless.

doesn't matter, it has a heat exchanger also has a nice engine bay so the engine stays clear of salt water.
but if it didn't have a heat exchanger stainless isn't suggested because it conducts electrolysis.

i made the mistake once of putting in stainless plugs in my boat. the electrolysis
ate one out and i thought the boat was sinking. i kept the boat moving so water would not come in. i had a guy meet me at the boat ramp to do an emergency haul out.
if i knew it was just the plug fell out i would have jumped over board and stuck something in the hole. but i was worried i had hit a rock and broke the hull.

You probably will have better luck going to Cummins for this.

Most of these guys are selling performance parts. Also, there was no Cummins in a diesel truck in 87.
