Default Tornado Relief Fund Raiser

Don't know how many of you have heard, but the town of Greensburg, Kansas was almost completely destroyed by a F5 torando Friday evening. About 95% of the towns buildings and homes are either destoryed or damaged, 9 people died and over are 60 injured. You can see an article about the town and destruction photos here and here. I live roughly 30-45 miles from Greensburg and have a few members of my wife's extended family that lost their home that night.

Thru the end of June I'll be donating all the proceeds from my appreal and other gear from my Cafe Press store to the Red Cross to help out those affected by the tornado. So if you could spare a few bucks for a t-shirt, hat, or mouse pad I along with the town of Greensburg would greatly appreciate it. If you would rather send a check or food items (water, non-perishable stuff) that would be welcome to and I can make sure it gets to those that need it.

Sorry to hear about the tragedy Nate...very noble cause you are starting here. I have made your post a 'sticky' so it gets the attention it deserves!

Best wishes to your family!

Thanks for making it a sticky!

It's really pretty amazing anyone survived with how much destruction was caused.

Here are some pics from a guy that rode out the tornado in his semi sleeper.

Thanks for posting the pics, guys. That damage is unbelievable. It is a miracle that more people were not killed.

Thought I'd give this a bump.
