Default Trying To Set A Budget/Goal

I have Big plans in store for my 2007 Ram Megacab (6.7L)

But my checkbook says i need to take baby steps...

I need some prices to start me off for a few things... (shipped to 99615)

1. Edge with attitude programmer

2. Pure Performance Full Coil Over 8 inch lift
part numbers PPRAM80PR-03F, and PPRAM80DR-03R

3. Tires... I really like the michelin xzl's, and they come in a 12.5x20 size which should fit on my KMC Rockstar 20x8.5 wheels. But they are at least 40 inches tall and prolly wont fit under an 8 inch lift. I also like Interco Tires (Irok, Super swampers etc)

Feel free to make a recommendation within the following guidelines
a) Fit on 20x8.5 wheel
b) Fit nicely under an 8 inch lift
c) Good Snow/ice performance (i live in alaska)
d) look intimidating

This is only the beginning, please quote each item seperate as my wallet wont allow me to buy it all at once

Sounds like about 10G should start it off. Not tryin to be a smart *** here but something to keep in mind on this long road your headin down. You not only have to fund the BOMBS themselves but also the parts and pieces to support the BOMBS. If this is your first venture into a new country ask lots of questions before you get started cause this is a never ending road once you start. Each cool thing leads to another list of needed parts to hold the additional stress on the truck.

exactly what Bubba said. supporting mods are something to think about. I am in the middle of that right now with a tranny coming up soon. Smarty is taking its toll on the ol girl but i guess i could turn it down or lighten my right foot! LOL

i hear you on that one, i started rough estimating all my wishes and it was well over 25K in parts alone...right now the trucks main job is hauling my motorcycles, if i lift it 8 inches, gonna need a 30 ft ramp :....so i decided to go with the kelderman hydraulic bed lift...that is only 10k .... saving my pennies on that one

also on the list are buckstop bumpers front and back, warn dualforce HD winch and compressor, air leveling kit so i always ride level, lambo doors, complete repaint to match my 50th anniverssary yamaha (yellow and black)....etc etc etc.

trust me i know it will be a long expensive road, but i gotta start somewhere...

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

not to mention the money i have to dump into my bikes cause i keep tryin to get off while they are still moving......

selling a jetski in PR if anyone wants it,

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

the mods in my sig were purchased and installed before i picked up my truck, which was built with only the options i wanted...so the mod bug had bitten before i ever made a payment on it...

here is my list of googled prices, but this post is for me to get a vendor to give me a hard quote so i can make plans on when and wat order to do them in...

what i really need is someone who can plan for me which mods need or should be done first so i dont end up with a truck that dioesnt turn or blows tranny's etc.

Lift Kit – $5000.00

Hydraulic Bed Lift - $10,000.00

Lambo doors - $2678.00

Edge w/attitude - $899.10

Bumpers - $3,099.00

Good Hood - $684.95

Air Raid intake $289.95

Warn Dual Force HD - $1465.00

Sounds like a killer project, I just wanted to make sure you knew what you were gettin into before it wa to late. We see it to often of guys buyin the first diesel and wann make power but don't think about the rest of the story. Sounds like you've done your homework. Be sure to keep us supplied with pictures and updates as you go.

I don't know much about the newer trucks but if it's an Auto tranny better plan a rebuild in there. You will find the vendors here will take care of ya though and give you honest advice if they think your wrong on something.

hard to save for the big tkt items with diesel at 5.04 a gallon, and regular life eating away at my paycheck...got a second job for play money and its all goin into the gas tank ...

i plan to be buried in this truck, so resale/warranty isnt even a concern, i just hope i can fund my addiction before i'm pushin up daisies
