my dad has a 2006 2500 dodge megacab. the front actuator is bad and he's looking for a good one to replace it with.

 

Um 06 trucks don't have a front actuator. They run a stub left and a long right axle, controlled only by either a shifter to transfer case or an electric motor. Are you looking for a motor, or trying to diagnose a four wheel drive issue?

 

ahh be the motor then. haven't actually looked at it yet i'm in mississippi, he is in illinois. he has the turn **** and the front axle doesn't engage. my brother also has an 06 and put his on and it worked. dealer wanted like 400ish so trying to find cheaper
