Default a little help

I am looking to pull the trigger on this

Gray 2005 Dodge 2500 HD Diesel 4x4, A/T - P/S - P/B, power seat front, tilt wheel, CD player, sprayed bed liner, 4" lift, 35x12.50 Dick Cepek, new tires, tow package, step rails.

68k miles, original owner, dealer maintained and all service records.

what should i look for on the inspection/ test drive

im a jeep guys needing a truck. front end stuff dosent scare me just no real diesel knowledge.

i do know he has a super chips on it to correct the tire size and he has it set to econ tune (done by the lift shop he has no idea how to use it older gentleman)

a picture to keep interest


any information would be great

cant believe nobody has replied yet!

MAKE SURE to get the guy to inspect the transmission, hopefully for you the guy that owned it previously never ran that superchip very much. dodge's auto transmission are a weak link. not saying to overlook the truck, just make sure you know exactly how it was ran or get a good guess on it. if its an older man, and its ran on economy and just to correct the speedometer, then you should be perfectly fine. the auto trannies are okay stock, just not okay when you are throwing over 100 extra horses at it and driving it like a mad man. id say if it is in as good of shape as it looks in the picture, the man took care of it and had no desire to do any performance.

great looking truck! id ****** that one up in a heartbeat for the right price.

if you dont mind me being nosey, how much are they asking? clean looking truck
