i dont know about all this back and forth "my trucks better then you truck stuff". but i always liked the idea of a cummins in a ford. there was a great article in the diesel world or diesel power (don't remember which one) where there was a range of tests for owners to preform to see who had the best truck. some where MPG, sled pulls, drag strip, etc and the one with the highest points was one where a guy put a cummins in his ford.

i think this makes for a great package

there's my two cents

It was the Diesel Power Challenge last year. A local guy here put a CR 5.9 Cummins in his 97 Ford. Awesome truck.

Ok junior. Whatever you say. And if you are telling the OP all those things can go wrong, be useful and give examples or reason why. Im unsubscribed cause this has gotten way out of hand.

Thanks to everyone for their passionate input. I have found an 03 Excursion that has a solid Oasis report, then getting the headstuds, oil cooler and the EGR delete done as soon as I buy it.

Thanks again for the advice and information, would love to see the firestorm if someone put a 6.0L into a Ram....... that would cause some heads to explode.
