I hope so, it has been setting since September 2010. Seems like everything is ok. Will have to go over the brakes, fluids, ect. this week. Wish us luck!

Default Idle Problems

Got another question for you guys, Today when I came to a stop my truck starting idling rough, felt like a cammed big block. So, I turned around and by the time I got home the truck wouldnt idle at all I had to use the pedal to keep it running. Got it in the garage now just lookin for some possiblities. Plus, I ran the truck til the fuel light came on for the first time, that was yesterday. Maybe clogged fuel filter? or injectors?

Hmm sounds like its losin fuel somehow. Make sure you dont have air in your system, crack the priming nut on top of the fuel filter to check.

And its always a good idea to change a fuel filter and clean out the prefilter. While you're at the prefilter, go ahead and delete the fuel heater, it may be causing you some problems, and if not now, it probably will in the future.

Injectors and injection pump would be the last place I would look. Most expensive to fix, and also least likely suspect.
