Hi im new here and I have a 67 Ford work truck that I want to convert to a 4BTA Cummins cus I need a diesel and am looking for good mpg. Ive researched and understand the work involved in putting it in but cant find a good source for them. I hear the box vans are good donors but I cant find any around here. I live 1-2 Hrs from Dallas.Any help will be appreciated.

Hi, that's the problem everyone has with the 4bt they're hard to find and when you do they're generally not cheap

 

the 6bts are alot easier to find, cheaper and they fit just fine, you can get great fuel mileage out of them too.
