Like stated above, you really just gotta keep looking for the best deal. Your looking for a diesel so if its been well maintained then you wont have any problems most likely with your million mile motor. Good luck in your search!

Well said Saltwater Cowboy. Now if only he hears it. The engines and other major components they are building today will go much further than the vehicles of 20-30 years ago. Mileage isn't much of a measuring stick for overall condition of a truck. Way better off to look at the complete vehicle and try to get a picture of past uses if possible.
