Default truck cabs

so just wondering, (opinions) do you guys like standard, ext. or crew cabs on your trucks? do u have any preferences as to why?

i mean,, i still think crew cab is good cuz it makes the truck bigger, but it gives it more weight and sometimes i prob would find it necessary....

im not sure.... what do u guys think?

Do you have kids or a lot of people you have to haul around? When it was just me I liked the regular cabs there a shorter truck so they turn better and they cost less . Now that I have a kid I drive a extended cab and am looking for a crew for my wife to drive.

It really boils down to what you're going to use it for. I love my single cab but when people have to ride along or on trips the 4 door is the way to go for me. I look at it this way: More cab space=more places to store junk. I find that a lot of the time the back seat is so full of coats, paperwork and junk that I have to clean it out before the seats can be sat in. As for parking, I don't find it difficult the longer truck because I park so far out 99% of the time anyways. Extra cabs aren't for me because they aren't that much shorter and the seats are too small for normal humans.

A crewcab gives you a longer wheelbase which helps to give a better ride (if thats important to you). Of course, regular cabs are a whole lot cheaper.

Default Long time crew cab owner here....

Crew cabs are the best for resale and if you ever need to haul anybody around. You'll pay more for one of these but you'll get more when you sell it too, usually if you take care of it. I haven't had a regular cab in years and wouldn't go back to it either. If you're gonna be in a big truck anyway, might as well super size it.
Go big or go home.
