Default Gotta go get a boat, which truck do I take?

Whats up, new to this site, but best one Ive read yet! I recently bought a 36 foot mainship in NY. Goin to get it next week and just bought the dually (see signature). Been pullin all kinds of weight with the excursion, but think Ill like the stability of the dually. The dodge however, is only rated at 180hp? the excursion I think is rated over 300hp stock? Question is, will this dodge pull 18k lbs from NY to ATL?

Dang, at twice the hp, I guess yall are thinkin it isnt the hp thats been getting it done with the X? 180hp vs. 18klbs for 1000 miles across the mountains of va. doesnt sound like a good combo to me, but I sure would like to use those 4 rear tires. yall know its stock other than air in and out? If yall really think itll pull it, Im definately dumb enough to try it, just a little worried about getting bogged down to 30mph on the hills I guess. the big rigs blowin by dont always give me the space I need for a relaxed digestive system. The excursion never gets beat to the top of the hill, but coming down the hills makes everyone nervous if you know what I mean.

dodge will get er done and love it remember 6 in a row built to tow! and its not ur horse power its ur torque u need to look at it may only be 180 horse but its well over 400 ft lbs of torque when u get goin kicker out of o/d so u dont burn the overdrive unit the torque converter will still lock up and it will keep u in a better rpm range for ur hills of virginia

o and

I like 7.3L engines a lot but 500K on the motor I would go with the dodge with 170k I know they will run forever but still there is tons of other wear on that excursion so Dodge plus it's a dually how can you go wrong with that
