Default Please Help!

I just had my 04 powerstroke stollen. Is one of two trucks that i make all my income with. I am looking @ 2009 cummins and duramax and can not get a straight answer from anyone on the mechanical diffrences between a 2500 and 3500?????? the dodge dealer tells me get a 2500 and put airbags on it to save a few thousand. chevy salesman tells me only difference is suspension. I do a lot of plowing with w 1200 pound plow and usually 3000 lbs of salt in the bed. when not plowing I usually pull about 4000 pounds but about once a week i pull 15000 or more. Will i be better of to get A 2500 and put bags on front and back, or just spend the extra $$$ up front and not waste my time with the bags? My plow dealer is saying even with a 3500 I should put air bags on the front to save front end wear and tear. Please anyone with some knowledge help me.
PS. COLUMBUS OHIO POLICE INFORMED ME THAT DIESEL TRUCKS ARE BEING STOLLEN ALL THE TIME RIGHT NOW. LOCK YOUR TRUCKS GUYS!!!!

get a 3500, with what your doing dont mess around with a 2500...I would go with the dodge too since your gonna be plowing. Thats a lot of stress on the front end of any truck and the AAM axle IMO will hold up better and need less maintenance then the IFS

so the front IS different in a 3500 versus a 2500, other than just a few suspension parts? and as much as i would like a dodge the dealership cant really compete with what the chevy dealership is offering me, so unless they come up with a great deal by fri im going to own my first chevy. thanks for the info, I HAVE LOTS TO LEARN

No the Dodge has a solid front axle and the chevy has the independent front suspension, sorry i should of made that clearer...on both 2500 and 3500.

If i was using it for a plow truck i would want the dodge but if the chevy dealership is giving you a deal on it you cant really go wrong, there are alot of guys out there plowing with a chevy
