Rule and guidelines for posting

Rules:

- Keep your messages on topic. that means talking about buying / deciding on what Diesel your looking for or what you just bought and have questions about. Moderators will allow a certain amount of "off-topic" messaging, but please do not push it. We want to keep this clean and to the point

-ABSOLUTELY NO CARFAX REQUESTS!!! It is against the Terms Of Service agreement with carfax for someone to search a VIN for someone else. Since it violates the Carfax policy, it is not condoned here. Believe it or not they do look on the net for requests like that.

Guidelines:

- Topics allowed include anything about a Diesel your looking at, what model suits your needs, what to look for when buying, etc. As well as New Owner Questions and information that is general but may not be known by new owners

- As times and members change with this group, some questions maybe asked over and over again.
For the oldtimers, please be patient with those who are new.
To those who are new, you can search the site for answers to your questions. If you feel the answers found do not satisfy you, please post your question here.
Sometimes the answers you are looking for may be in other sections already.

- Topics in this area will not be moved to there respectable forum unless they are deemed not to be a normal new owner discussion, they will remain in this area for other Newbies and potential newbies

- Topics on the site that's in other forum will be moved here if deemed to fit in this area

- initiation threads will not be moved to this forum , the staff will post a link to this area for the new member
