96 7.3 vs. 99 7.3 vs. 02 5.9 Cummins
Hello guys
I currently own a 96 F250 7.3L automatic with 86,000 miles on it. It's a great truck, but I frequently haul between 4 to 6 horses with it and have been thinking I may need something with a bit more pull. I've looked into modifying this one, but I've also been looking at 2 other trucks that seem like they may do the job better.
The first one is a late 99 F250 with the 7.3 and a 5 speed manual. It's also low miles, 68,000, and seems very well taken care of.
The second is an 02 Dodge 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins with a 6 speed. 79k miles.
Both of the other trucks are stock, and would cost me about 2k more than what I have in mine, but look like great trucks.
I know there is a lot of knowledge and experience floating around this forum, so any input you guys would have would be great. Advantages/disadvantages of the different trucks, suggestions, etc.
Thanks!
Ryan
