well im looking for an everyday driver and i want a bit older truck. Which truck gets better mpg and what years get best?
Which come with 5spds and 6spds? Im not going to be towing alot. i know im gunna want to tune it to add horsepower and even a jake if thats possible. thanks

 

Here is how I would look at it.
For a daily driver, get the Cummins.
Since chevy quit using a manual trans years ago, get the Cummins.
If you want to add power, the Cummins is cheapest to build, because it is stronger.

 

when it is cheapest and stronger then why not to give it a shot as i am in full support
