Default RELIABILITY........INPUT PLEASE

To be honest, Im not a brand new potential owner but may as well be for as much as I know about diesel. Long story short, had an '04 Ram with the 5.9 Cummins that I drove for about 75000 mi with nary a hitch in the giddy up. Along came 3 kids and had to shed that rascal for something that could accommodate 3 car seats.....enter the '04 Excursion with the 6.0 Power Stroke. Seems like Im having nothing but trouble...surprise right?!? Anyway, the kids are bigger and want to get back into a truck. My question is this: Are all the power stroke (6.0, 6.4, and 6.7L) prone to the same pitfalls for reliability and maintence? Im leaning toward going back to the Cummins but.......as far as reliability is the 6.7L prone to the same issues as the Power Stroke because of all the added emissions bull that is now required or should I go back to the 5.9L? I want at truck that is reliable (not too much shop time) because I don't want to hear the wifey complaining too much. I know there is a bunch of aftermarket stuff that can be done but Im not mechanically inclined and don't have a lot of extra cash/time to have someone do the work for me. Any helpful advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
