hey guys im new to this forum and pretty new to the diesel world... But im in the market for a new truck and i dont know if i should go for the RAM 2500 or GMC 2500 i know there isnt much out there right now about the new GM 3/4 tons but i am generally a GM guy im just disappointed in them recently. And Dodge has really stepped it up on there vehicles. Every bit of advice is greatly appreciated.. Thanks, Skyler

 

Brother, there is no way anyone in their right mind can recommend a dodge over a Duramax.... unless they own a Dodge and HAVE to. That decision is easy. Don't let the fact that Dodge's are cheap influence you. I faced the same decision and am thankful everyday for the Duramax I drive. No better truck out there.

 

Both vehicles are good. I'd say test drive both and see which one you like.

 

hahaha i hear ya .. the only reason im pulling toward the dodge is that the interior is ridiculously nicer than any GM truck to me even nicer than the pics of the insides of the 14 GM trucks and the mega cabs room is also another reason... if the dodge wins my heart the one i found at a dealer is $63,000 im gonna have to give arm for that .. they have really stepped their game up.. But i am also a firm believer in GM and the way they are built.. I guess its just gonna have to be a waiting game until GM brings their trucks to the market.

 

A Dodge is a Dodge is a Dodge , even if they change their name to Ram.
