Question Questions Dealing With LB7

Hey guys, from a newb standpoint, please don't flame me.

Ok, so planning on buying an '03 Duramax 2500 CCLB or ECLB 4x4... So the dreaded LB7 Injector Spew, is that so much $$ due to the hard to access location of them??? I haven't had a chance to talk bout getting a Duramax with my step dad, but he works for the same company as I do, but he's the foreman of the shop working on all the heavy machinery and a few of our Powerstrokes. So diesel is his life, even though he's never owned one

Just wondering because everyone says after 04.5 they changed the valve cover up so that the injectors are easier to get too...BUT, if the location of the injectors are what make it such a pain, shouldn't have to worry bout that due to i have all my own tools, everything known to man including my step dad's tools...so I shouldn't have to worry bout this too much right???

Sorry if it's a dumb question...

Thanks,
Doobie

Prolly more of the price. Id research that first if the time ever rose to but them. I have a dodge currently and you can get performance injectors anywhere from like 350 and up for six. I had a ford as well and they were like 300 I believe with a core charge something to think about. Im not a duramax/ chevy fan but make sure you search on those issues. Try the search feature or google. Good luck man.
