So over Easter weekend I took my truck out mudding at Yankee lake, OH. It was sweet best time I had in a while, but took the truck through a few pits that where to deep. clogged my radiator, trans cooler, ac, and intercooler. packed them clear full of mud but that wasnt what killed it i pulled over every time it started to over heat and let it cool off. the next day i made it about 2 hours away from home towing a trailer down the interstate still running a little warm but not overheating, completely dies on me going up a hill. after about 9 hours on the side of the interstate i gave up and had a tow truck get it. turns out my breather tube for my fuel tank was off. i estimate i have about 2 or 3 gallons atleast of mud and water in there still dont have the repair bill yet or the extent of the damage. I know a new lift pump is part of it, but it was nearly worth it all. Oh yeah and i broke off my reverse lights shouldn't of put them under the bumper.

mmm yankee lake seems to be a dodge killer..
killed my 2000 trans there, and broke some stuff on my '93
the chevys I was running up there didn't give me too many probs, but I killed a fuel pump in a ford.
the small pits in the swamp are a lot deeper than they look, but i'm sure you figured that out by now...

Got a little more info on the damage today. Turns out the mud clogged the fuel line and burnt up the lift pump. I guess before it went it was pumping fuel into my oil because it was 3 quarts high.
