it ended up just needing a good cleaning i got it hooked back up today and it worked good as new

Cool, good news to hear.
I was wondering a bit, because Ramsey winches have a good reputation- not compareable with that china crap.

yeah it seems pretty good guy before me that owned the truck just didnt take care of anything i got more stuff wrong that just came up today im trying to figure out now
