definitly get event insurance, it's priceless when things go astray. there use to be one around here till the guy retired and and somebody else to over. it was an R rated event, byob, wet t-shirt contest (clothing was optional). there was a drag race about 200yds long. there was also a loop track with a small hill climb, and a mud bog. you could race the track by yourself for time or race another truck. it was around 30 to partake in and 10ish to watch. always tons of people there reguardless of weather. over all a good drunkin time drivers where not allowed to drink til after they were done racing. good luck

As mentioned, a circle track in addition to the drag would be great. We have one near here and it has a circle track with mud pits and I believe a hill climb. You could also through in an obstacle course, sort of like what they have in top truck challenge. In fact. those would be some good videos to get some ideas.
Definitely check out all the legal junk though.

Need deep mud for the big trucks and shallow stuff for the smaller trucks/quads. The place I go often has a jump into the deep end of the pit which is awesome to hit at speed and land WOT just slingin ****.

Also a four-wheel drive tractor/skidder/payloader and lots of cable to pull people out.
