well i agree, i am not a big fan of body lifts, but i ended up with a 2 inch in my bronco because i needed the extra clearance for the drivetrain, not ideal but i didn't want to hack up the frame and body. i did use all grade 8 bolts and all the mounts are good.

Doesn't matter if the lift was installed properly, if you followed instructions, if your mounts are good... it doesn't matter... its simple physics, you're adding a lever to the body mount. It will NOT hold up as well as stock, simple as that. The higher the BL, the more leverage.

Obviously the pics shown are of a WORST CASE scenario, improperly installed, possibly weak bolts used, no one will know. He is just showing what CAN happen.

that isnt the body lifts fault. its definately the person who put it ons fault. ive had a couple and have had no problems. in fact the last one was on a yukon i had i rolled it and my cab stayed on my frame.

Agreed, but it's just a simple fact that WITH one on, it is far more likely to happen, not guaranteed. I think the OP was just trying to make people realize the potential is there.

Maybe it was all part of his plan for kenetic energy disipation to lessen absorbtion by passengers.
