i started with bed on mine, after a couple of trips thru the local trails and a few rubs against a few trees my bed is gone, traded for a flatbed. made the flatbed out 3/4 inch solid flat plate added the fuel cell, toolbox and battery to the back of the truck and gonna redo the exo a little better and beefier to add some weight to the rear.
if it was mine and gonna be a off road truck only i would loose the bed and open the back for tire clearance, just my thoughts on the bed part.
what size engine/tranny/ Tcase you running, i have a friend that has a ranger with a 302/sm435/205 with one ton axles under it and it a seriously bad a$$ truck

4.0, T5 5 speed, factory BW case into the factory dana 35/8.8......for now.....on once i lose all the sheetmetal under the factory flares it will be a huge difference, its 3-4 inches of sheetmetal, ill have the tire clearance, like i said though, i would like to do a EB dana 44 with a matching 9 inch rear, until then it will be a mall crawler on 38's......
