that sucker is tall i am kinda surprised he kept the ford in it and didn't change it to a 12 valve or something he needs a lot of power to turn those things fast even with all the lower gearing. did they add a military 6x6 t-case to get even lower gear before the drop box

most of the "top" trucks running around spend the time and money and do stuff right, they build them just like the big prostock trucks, 2 long tubes and a adjuster bar connected to the rear axle and the frame with a 3 inch clevis............

i know the truck started as a 2wd so i dont know if he added a NP200 or T-136 air shift then into the drop box......i doubt it though......

personally i would of went with 5 tons instead of 2.5's......

Man most of you boys must not play in the mud very often.

That's one serious stroker! I've been down to mudfest the past 3 years and havent seen that truck yet. He gonna make it there in Feb?

stock axles cant handles those tires for anything more than driving around a fairground........my opinion is that those 2.5's really wont be able to take the abuse of those rice and canes....but we will see....

those 4 link bars cost somewhere in the 3K range to build if built right.......the coil overs probably about 5K.......all the tubing probably cost 2-3K and the drop box about 3.5K.......

It is by far better built then some of the other junk I have seen but it still looks way too scary of fabbing.

it would probably be fine for mudding but I wouldnt sled pull or tug a war with it.
