Matt Waldin Uses a Mishimoto Aftercooler!
Professional race car driver Matt Waldin explains another way Mishimoto keeps his Nissan 350Z cool!
"Mishimoto supplied us with a dirt bike radiator from their power sports line which we modified and mounted to the back of the engine in the 350z to add additional cooling. The scorching hot water from each turbo is run through the rear mount radiator to cool it off before it gets circulated through the rest of the cooling system. By doing this we have seen temperature differences of almost 30 degrees after a hard run. We have also added ducting in the hood to bring air from the front end of the car to the after cooler to further aid cooling the engine."
