i assume the chrome is more of a foil than vinyl which will make it much harder to apply ?

It's actually just as easy to apply as normal vinyl. It's 2.5 mil thick, so pretty good stuff!

Like I said it's special order right now and they'll let me know when they have more of it. They have other colors of chrome, but silver is out right now.
