We have the little 90HP one. In 2004 they went to 100HP.

The 90 HP car is a fun little car. Not a dog, but no race car either. The Average mpg's are down to 40.70mpg with the colder weather right now. Last two tanks were 39.45 and 35.26.

The wife loves the the thing. So good mileage + she loves it makes it a good score in my book.

You can run 100% bio in all the VW's up to 2003. The PD at 2004.5 is only good for B40 I think and the new CR which I haven't seen yet is supposed to be ok for B20 right off the lot.

Computers... and Enviro crap on board. I'm not certain but I think the bio doesn't burn the same in the DPF and therefore can cause the computer to do funny things. Time will tell.
