But so far I'm the only one here qualified to answer that question.

When did the Mark VIII come out?

Last one I knew about was the Mark V

Oops...I got a little too happy with the "i" key. The new one is the Mark VI.

I just found out that the new Mark VI is in fact NOT declassified yet and is still undergoing Sea Trials. Bow, how long and wide is that boat your seeing?

Ha, thats funny. I made a typo and suddenly I dont know anything about the very boats I operated off of? I've been out since '97 so I rely on our "pipeline" to stay up to date. I'll have all the pertinent info soon.

Its not a Mark V because they would never update an old boat with a new jet drive system while developing the new Mark VI. Especially since the Mark V proved its reliability for many years in the current configuration. The Mark V is about to go away.

BTW- in other related info: The new Mark IX mod 1 SDV is about to be released.

Thats either the new Mark VI or a swift attack boat they are testing. Its not a Mark V and looks to be a bit bigger.
