Default Edge evolution race and dpf delete

Hey guys, not a duramax guy at all but doing some upgrades to a buddies stock 08 lmm. I'm going to do the edge evolution race version with cs monitor
and mbrp 4" straight exhaust dpf delete. Basically, is he going to eat the Allison alive or should he be ok. I'm not really familiar with what these things can handle. He's not doing competition or pulling just every day driver. Thanks in advance for any responses!

Do a trans go jr shift kit it will help it hold alittle bit better and higher than what a stock trans can take

For someone who wants to just have a bump in power, and get gauges all in one the Edge is a good choice, if you want to drag race or sled pull then there are better choices, but the edge does well for the average guy
