all my friend wants to do is get better mileage. is it or is it not possible to just remove the DPF filter from the exhaust and replace with straight pipe. where is the DPF located? Is it one of those canisters before the muffler?

There should be a thermocouple before and after the DPF

Not if you get the stealth like you said. But the DPF pipe itsself is $275, a full exhaust is the less or just varely more if you go with a name brand.

so the stealth doesnt turn off the DPF? It says you can command DPF regen. So I would assume it could turn it off?

Why couldnt I just use a piece of flex pipe for the DPF delete? why do I need a $275 piece? what does that piece consist of that makes it so exspensive?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I read quads site and one of the tunes you can download is the DPF delete tune.

might want to use another exhast system for the dpf back... taking it back to the dealer with the factory tail pipe covered with soot might look suspicious
