Default Advice on my LB7

Alright guys after finally making some moves on my truck and getting a new truck after rolling the old Lb7, the newer lb7 ready to go.

After rolling my lb7 with 130k miles I finally got to getting a new one 3 months ago with only 55k miles on it.

I bought it with an edge juice and attitude, ppe, boost valve, banks intake and super scoop and 4 in exhaust from gibson.

Truck is lifted 6 inches and has 33 on it.

I'm taking her to Underground diesel in Vegas next month to get EFI live installed to run with my CS monitor, than having a profab down pipe installed with a ADII pump installed as well.

I know I need a tranny kit, I want to make her a DD that is reliable and safe to preform when needed. What kit does everyone recommend?

Im looking to eventually make 600 hp. But not in the near future. I want a reliable truck that can make 500 hp and keep the trucks tranny in safe running order on a stock turbo.

Anyone see anything wrong with what i got going/planned?

or have recommendation for things i can do relatively cheap for reliability.

What all needs to be done to the front end? I keep reading things about the front end being sone.

Im getting 17mpg by the comp. Which im okay with. I wouldnt mind seeing it closer to 20.

Time to get this thing rolling!!

If you're anywhere near LA I would go to Mike at Inglewood transmission, he is one of the BEST allison builders out there

the thing that is killing your mileage is the lift and bigger tires, a good mileage tune might help but thats your biggest culprit right now

Thats 8 hours for me. And I dont have the time to go out there. Im not to worried about MPgs as I am about making decent power on a DD that will be reliable to me.

Ya u need tie rod sleeves at minimum on the front and a straight center link would help. Dustin at torque diesel had some good prices on the ones he was having made. May hit him up. also EFI is by far the best for the dmaxs. Get a dsp5 switch so u can switch tunes

Yah I have efi live planned for next month. Im using my CS moniter for gauges and possibly looking at putting up a 2 piller pod for actual boost and pyro, than monitering tranny temp and another temp on my CS.

Tranny is in my very near future. recommendations?

Extreme prejudice diesel is out in Utah, they do awesome dmax work and they can do the trans too i believe.

but a gmax 5pac will do just fine for the truck.

You can run the gauge mounts that go in the over head counsel so you can keep the CS right where it is

Ive heard good things about this Underground Diesel in Vegas, I dont see why I cant put trust in them to build a good tranny. They gave me a price on A PPE stage IV that I think is reasonable out the door. The Gmax Kit Ive looked into as Well not really sure what will do be better.

No problems. I need all the Suggestions I can get! Im also needding assitance in what all " NEEDS" to be upgraded on the front end. I hear a lot about tie rod/tie rods sleeves and pit man arms and center shafts.

Im wanting to do it right and not worry about it. Im thinkin I may just splurge and drop the money into a tranny kit. Just need input on which is best. PPE stage IV or gmax or something else i should think about...

tie rod sleeves are a must. and if your truck is just a DD i suggest getting the center link brace rather than getting the straight center link. and that is all you should need for the front end.

both kits are good and you will get the same results. only difference is price.
