Default should i change up the chip

I've got a 03 lb7 wit a bullydog 3 stage chip.... full exaust an intake an meth injection was tryin to see what else i could do with out either worryin about the headbolts or torckinverter slipping I keep herein from some of the guys around that have duramax's I'm gonna have problems if I keep adding more on to the truck gm Jus had.to put a new pump an injectors in las month for free

If you get another chip you will most likely limp the trans Before you go too crazy you may want to think about doin some work to it!

5 speed Allison will only take about 60 or so HP over stock before it starts to slip. upgrade your transmission before going any higher in HP first.

When You say 5 speed allison do you mean the automatic allison 1000 thats in the 04?

yes. the Allison 5 speed is in 01 to 04.5. above that it is the Allison 6 speed automatic

the ZF6 manual was also a 6 speed made by ZF in Germany, used on some of the earlier years. a rare bird indeed. too bad GM doesn't provide it anymore.

The ZF6 was available from factory from 01-06, however it is very rare to find one with it equipped

Yes you need to upgrade your transmission if you plan on adding more power to your 03

Would you care to tell us how you got your injectors and CP3 replaced for FREE from GM?
